Unless you want to see the weird quirks to your factory paint along with that awesome shine.
Also, never look at factory paint under white light for too long... you see all sorts of weird stuff that is not visible in the regular daylight!
At least the orange peal is not too bad on the GTO and it still looks kick *** in the daylight.

Man my WS6 had the WORST orange peel which was even made more ironic because it was orange!! I aggree with your assumption but that is just the way GM paints these things. Looks like Holden does a little better job. Although I'm just guessing because this thread has no PICTURES

I need to do our GTO soon. I remember how good Ryans silver WS6 looked after he did his with Zaino. It really brought out the metal flake....exploded might be a better word. Better wait for the hood I guess....

I'm working on a new formula; Menzerna, Klasse Twins, topped with Carnubna.
Last night I started with Menzerna I.P. good thing I only did one panel cause the car took a major step backwards to aggressive. I switched to Menzerna Final Polish with the Porter Cable and a white pad and the car looks really, really, really good I'd post a photo but my camera is at the office.
Since Linda is gonna drive this car I'd recommend hit it with the Menzerna Final Polish which I believe you have, then give it couple coats of Zanio.
Talk to the body shop but you probably want that hood to cure for 90 days. I do have some 3-M product that would be safe to use on the hood while your waiting for it to cure.
Gotta be fun having a new baby.

DAMN that looks GOOD Todd, even for YOUR car!!!
And I'll have to hook up with you sometime & try the new process Steve. Since I can't afford to buy my own Porter Cable for about 6 years.

I don't know. I checked the Zaino web site and they do not address it.
Zaino does not contain silicones, I believe products with silicone are not body shop safe. I asked a tech from Meguiar's the difference between the tan packaged product and the maroon packaged product. He stated the difference is the tan packaged product contains no silicone and is safe in a body shop.
So my answer is I don't know but personally I'd wait the 90 days. Besides if I can wait 90 days anybody can wait 90 days

Zaino is so good that I created a page on my site called "Zaino".
Here it is
Zaino rocks. The complete kit is money well spent.
