Actually Virginia (and a lot of Southern States) use hi-perf cars (unmarked usually) as traffic enforcement vehicles.........they will sit a completely unmarked car in the center of the freeway with tinted windows and that guy runs radar, then he calls ahead with the description, plate # and speed of the violators to a marked car 1/2 mile up the road or so........sneaky and devious and gets a LOTTTTTA speeders.

Entrapment is defined: The act of officers or agents of a government in inducing a person to commit a crime not contemplated by him, for the purpose of instituting a criminal prosecution against him.

So unless he is trying to get you to race him it is not entrapment.

Well, I wouldn't be speeding if I knew there was a cop sitting there. But if there is a hot rod sitting there, who knows what my right foot might end up doing...it gets twitchy sometimes, especially around Fords.

Maybe amputating the foot would solve that problem?

You'd think the two huge antennas on the car would be a DEAD GIVEAWAY.

Those are just redneck cell phone antennas............aka CB radios

And actually, you would be frightened to know the number of people that have passed me in the 10 yrs I did that in a FULLY MARKED black & white patrol car in broad daylight.
