CCCA August 20th, Bremerton (Long Post)
Nw F-Body had a really good turn-out this morning.....afternoon.....and evening....That will be the Main story of the night.
We had 21 cars total. To start off with we got our first Time trial. Everything looking good. THEN 2 1/2 hours later we get our second time trial. Oh wait it gets better. After that time trial, 1st round of elimination Started at 3:00 P.m. a whopping 3 hours from our last time trial. Everyone was really frustrated by then BUT We managed to pull through 75% of our cars into the second Round.
After another 2 hours we hit Round 2. Granted it is 5:20 Now and we are only in Round 2 or 7 and the gates opened at 8. Even after all that time we managed to pull 50% of our cars from Round 2 into Round 3. A total of 7 cars.
Round 3 to 4 Wasn't as bad just a hour wait this time. And we only lost 2 cars this round.
Round 4 consisted of: Bill Salia, Johnathen Miller, Ron Gentry, Kenny O'Keith, and Jacob Vierra.
Wouldn't ya know it we had to race our selfs and Ron Gentry took the win over Jacob Vierra to advance to round 5. Bill and Johnathen won their respected races but Kenny lossed a close one to Don Berry i do believe.
Bill lossed with a .004 redlight against Don Berry in the pre-semi's eliminations. In the semi's Johnathen and Ron gentry came up a little short and did not advance to the finals. Ending NW F-body's reign in 6 straight finals appearences.
Hanawhacker took the Win with Don Berry runner up.
Great turnout. Great company. Great racing!
See-ya at Pacific for the wrap up of this years car club challenge. A double points event at pacific is scheduled for 4 p.m. on the 26th. See you there!

Yeah I'm looking forward to next friday, hopefully Ellis can get my car tuned before then. B/C my top end is getting killed, maybe I just need more power, but I honestly think it's my tune.

It was a very long day!!! Had a good time as usual though. Won my first race, But broke out in my second. Oh well, as we all say, if you are going to break out then it is good to run your best time ever. 12.181@ 105.98mph with a 1.674 60ft time. And I was braking at the end to try and win the race. I figure it was probably at least a 12.15 run had I not slowed down. There was some great racing today. It was nice to see us do so well. Thanks to all for a really great day.

No It was a great time lol, Even with the two I took out from you guys. Bill did a good run & so did Jackie.
Thanks Ellis for scanning Dans car now he knows whats really wrong with it & hoping to have it all fixed by the time friday rolls around. He was really happy when I told him it was just an 02 sensor & his Injectors. It means something HE could fixed & not have to ship off to a shop to get fixed while he was gone.
Thanks again.

I forgot to say earlier that I was able to put a few more names to faces. I met Ryan K (who has caused me to have a new goal=take the top spot on NW top 10, he's getting farther away though ), and Steph and girls. Also, Rick, who is in another car club?

Although possible Robert, Ryan K. Will be tough to catch. Let me remind you his Last car, a 98 SS, was a top the leader boards for quite some time until he sold it. He bought this new one and is keeping it stock, (as you can see) Soon it will take a SOLID 11 to dig into the top ten, Possible a 10 into the top 5. Will be a great, competitive season next season.

It's going to take quite a bit to stay on that top 10 list... next season, my car will be a little bit different, and a little bit lighter.
If the money allows, it'll be a direct port nitrous system, drag suspension, and vast amounts of weight reduction...
