College Football 101 (for Eric) OK..... the college football season is about to begin, so here are some revealing facts about 1 particular southern team. 
1) What does the average Florida Gator Player get on his SATs?
............Drool.
(2) What do you get when you put 32 Florida Cheerleaders in one room?
........A full set of teeth.
(3) How do you get a Gator Cheerleader into your dorm room?
.........Grease her hips and push.
(4) How do you get a University of Florida Graduate off your porch?
.........Pay him for the pizza.
(5) How do you know if a Florida football player has a
Girlfriend?
........There is tobacco spit on both sides of his pickup
(6) Why is the Florida Football team like a possum?
.........Because they play dead at home and get killed on the road.
(7) What are the longest three years of an Florida football player's Life?
........His freshman year.
(8) How many Florida Freshmen does it take to change a light bulb?
.........None. That's a sophomore course.
(9) Where was O. J. headed in the white Bronco?
........Gainesville FL. He knew that the police would never look at UF for a Heisman Trophy winner.
AND FINALLY (drum roll and cymbal crash.....)
(10) Why did Florida choose orange as their team color?
.........You can wear it to the game on Saturday, hunting on Sunday, and picking up trash along the highways the rest of the week.

I should have warned Ray....football is sacred in some areas. Anyway, I tried to diffuse the issue by posting this (tho I probably made things worse):
I guess you didn't realize this was a joke....merely a jab from a NW Husker Fan to a NW Gator Fan? 
As for winning our Conference, at least we will be the best team in our state this year! (yeah, so we're the ONLY one...so what? )
And I really don't think you want to compare records with NU, do you? How about winning 3 NCAA Championships in 4 years? While going 60-3? AND beating EVERY Florida team in the process?
Note to all: the real reason NU fans don't like Florida or FSU or Colorado isn't because they are good, tough teams that can hand NU it's *** on any given Saturday. That is the part we DO like. It's the cocky players that take cheap shots, or fans that throw beer etc at our fans. Go to a game in Lincoln & you will see what clean players & fans that love the sport are all about!

i guess you cold weather fellas dont like it when the south comes in?
and i wasnt mad. i used the term rape b/c its what i think of when i look back to the 93-94 UNL football teams. you cant escape that one fellas. i wont deny the dominance, esp over the big 10/12 over that span. great job, but i dont live in the 90s. lets see how they do this year. hopefully better than last?
