Default H2 is going to visit Turbo Tech

next month for some turbo action

And I got my 402 sitting in the garage finally, just waiting on heads (tuesday) and a few more items to start assembly of the engine. I'll get it up and running N/A for a while and then turn it over to Turbo Tech for some turbo magic. No...not a gutter sucking turbo either, the good "under the hood" kind

Come on... how fast does it really need to be? I'm only looking for 13.0's Well, maybe a 12.8 or so I expect it'll be a T76. I'd imagine it'll be pretty similar to Ryan's set up (but not quite as kick ***.. he's got a few upgrades).

It's almost a shame that the engine won't ever be able to achieve the drag times it really deserves. I guess we'll live with it somehow.

As for the Vette.... it'll take a little longer than expected to roll out. But when it does it'll need a 5 pt to feel safe

How long do you think that 4L65E is going to live behind 6800 lbs and 550+ rwhp?

Judging on how it looked when we opened it up (420-440 rwhp) last time, it should be fine. It's got better parts this time and the advantage of being a 4wd 4L65E so it doesn't have the output shaft issues that 2wd's experience. The transfer case helps support it.

It probably won't race as often as it did last season. A lot of that was just tuning and development. Testing every mod and stage of progress. This one will come out built and just needing refinement tuning. I'd expect to not have to open it for at least a year... hopefully two.

Of course a person does have to expect a certain amount of consumable parts to be expended. Nothing is going to last forever.

Sounds good. I didn't know the breakage issues associated with the 4wd jobbies vs the 2wd. Should be one fast refridgerator when you're all said and done.
