any good local salvage yards around?? I figured I could pick up a decent powersteering pump W/ PULLEY attached for a good price from a junk yard!
But I'd imagine it'd be hard to find Corvettes at wrecking yards.

Theres that guy on the corvetteforum that sells parts from parted wrecks. I bought an alternator from him that arrvied cracked. He took it back and replaced it with a NEW one for the same price. AWESOME. Just look in the C5 parts for sale section. He always has something there.

CHP (corvette & High performance) In olympia might know someone. But they are closed until tuesdays (normal days of open are Tuesday -saturday) http://www.corvhp.com/
There is also Pacific Corvettes off of 112th near Puyallup. I dont know what their hours are but they are a corvette junk yard type place. http://www.pacvette.com/wa/index.shtml

Hey Jon,
That vette place on 112th is not far from my house. It's right behind McClendon Hardware on Canyon. You'll have to stop by if your in the neighborhood. Good luck with the car. I'll have to show you my new toys. Still waiting on one more toy after I get my travel voucher.
