160mm center-to-center forged h-beam rods! 0.927" Chevy wrist pin so getting pistons will be easier
And ARP 7/16" rod bolts of course.

Yep it's for the Volvo. Hopefully will be pulling the engine and rebuilding it around springtime, I still need to get pistons and all the other little things. You would think that 4 would be cheaper than 8 wouldn't ya? These are custom straight from the manufacturer of Eagle rods, and ended up costing about the same as a set of 8 Eagle h-beam rods.

That's the entire point. By going with forged 160mm rods, instead of stock forged 152mm rods, plus the added 6mm stroke, I get a piston that is 11mm shorter. Also, this gives me a Rod/Stroke ratio of 1.86. The piston compression height will be just over 28mm. By doing this, I will have dropped just over a pound from each cylinder. The bone stock head flows the same as a stock LS1 head. The head will be ported, and when I run 2bar boost, it will essentially be displacing 7.5L of uncompressed mixture. That in a car that has a dry weight of 2500lbs, will not be slow

But yes, at the moment it is sitting on jackstands and goes 0mph, so you really got me there.

Haven't ordered pistons yet. They will be custom CP Pistons pistons. I know a guy who is doing similar pistons, so once he gets his I'll find out that information.

Next thing ya know the volvo will have a bench seat mounted on the deck lid, dropped to the weeds with dub dubs on it, and stickers galore.
