It's just getting tired. I have a cure though, we can just drill out your jets, it worked for my car, and it doesn't smoke any more. By the way Jon, congrats on being #1 today. Looking at my graph, it looks as though 600hp was coming, it was climbing fast, but I know, could of, should of...

It was great seeing everyone again, had a blast. We have some killer cars around here. Thanks Turbo Tech for a fine time, and Russ for getting us together.

Should we start another thread to list all the hp/tq results? Not everyone knows all the numbers all put down. Or list them here and someone can keep them all in their post?

Well I figured out the positive in my mishap; Now I can seriously go after the Big Dogs ie: Ellis, Ryan Mark and a few others. My goal now is a 9.xx slip by the end of summer. My car is in the capable hands of George as we speak. He's going to check on a few deals/packages. What we are thinking at this point is a forged 402 and L92 heads, nice cam and a l92 or ls7 intake, maybe good n/a for 450/500rwhp n/a, then of course a minimum 300rwhp shot, Dry in multi stage. God this hobby is expensive.

It's actually nice to see just how long that engine lasted at that power level. It's really a testament to the engine. If only mine's need for replacement was so glorious hehe.

DAAAAAAAAMN,.....I really wanted to go this time but I HAD to go to bremerton to have Cory port my LS6 intake manifold. I was going to have him port the throttle body but I went another direction. (more on that) (I have to go back tomorrow to pick it up!) (faster than mailing it anywhere!) He really specializes in this induction thing. Hes at http://www.ls2portworks.com/ AND any one who DOESNT have $1200 for an Intake manifold and throttle body,...I found a place called "New Era" http://www.neweraperformanceparts.co...97&NID=3437686
that has BBK 80mm throttle bodies for $319 THATS $319 80mm (by wire!) so I'm getting ready for the T.J. Wong head/cam thing..

Daamn I wish I could have went,.....Robert, I'm sooo sorry but that I'm glad I missed, that part. (I DID however save the vid.) ( thanks to Cris for that!) as I remember the time you had the "drive train",....."Issues" and every one's hart stopped!

and the first thing that I said to my wife looking at that BAD A$$ black beauty was NO it ISNT supposed to smoke like that!

Well,.....I for one think that spring is looking better all the time...........

This is what I did... I took EVERY picture that was taken on my camera and put them into one zip file. Its 44mb (56k get with the program!) so it shouldn't take too long to download.

http://www.turbotechnologyinc.com/forums/LS1Tech.zip

I just went through the pictures and realized there are some that didn't turn out to well and some that I'm not quite sure what Ryan and I (was anyone else using my camera?!) are taking pictures of but you can be the judge of that!

00Vette, there are some good pictures of the nasty smoke coming out of your car in that zip too...

Thanks again! Check back on Ryan's progress thread (https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-induction/666740-dropped-car-off-turbo-technology-inc.html) on his new race system also! I have some new pictures that are from earlier this week that I will put up tonight or tomorrow!

Enjoy

Nick

I've got all the numbers...except Mark's and the 2 Mustangs'. I'm putting them on the video I'm editing together. 24 cars at about 20 seconds of video each makes for 8 minutes of video. I'll see if I can keep the file size reasonable.

BTW, Nick, if you could zip the run files and post 'em that'd be great too!!!

I am sorry to hear you got blown, Robert. I hope it was not to disasterous to the rest of the car. My vote would be for the LS7 and n2o, but I am sure you know what you are doing. There is no doubt in my mind that you will be on the road to 9's this year.

[QUOTE]

Did you notice that it only happened during the deceleration after I let off the gas pedal. That is odd............

I asked Mo about it and he said it didn't look that bad in person and that is seemed okay to him. I'm kind of scratching my head over this.

Cool pics from Turbo Tech!

Yeah Jon I noticed that on decel your stuff was smokin. Maybe it's no biggie, as long as it's not during accel. Hey where's that 76 station in Auburn with 101 octane?

What happened to WAHusker's TA? That thing is loud, my ears are still ringing. A very cool car! Seems like it was having a converter problem?

A few things were going on. Mark just got the car back together with the new blower and we seem to be having a few issues. It also did not help hosing the plugs down with way to much Alky on the first pull

Oh yeah!! I forgot to post up about that. I'm sorry. Here is their phone number and address so you can mapquest it. Remember its a 76 station and the unleaded 101 octane is at the pump. They have 114 leaded (which we can't use) that is in Vatts.
