How big is your e-mail inbox Robert? The large version of the full video is 100mb. The small version is 20mb. The clip from Kraut's video is around 15mb. Give me an e-mail address that can handle that size attachment and I'll send it.

Anyone else that wants it, give me your e-mail and I'll send them to all of you at once.

It's in my profile. All other attachments/videos to that e-mail have worked, it's comcast, thanks.
Update on engine.
The crankshaft bolt is loose. The damper came out about 1/4 of a inch and that is where the oil came from. Best I can see no hole in the block or pan. No antifreee in the oil. I should have the engine out tommorrow.
Sounding better all the time, maybe.

I'm comcast too. I seem to recall comcast is set to a 10mb limit per message. I just tried to send the smallest one. I got a message back saying it was over the server size limit.

I'll try putfile again. They allow downloads, but I haven't been able to upload to them lately. The server always disconnects part way through.

If all else fails I can burn it onto a CD and mail it to you, or you could swing by and grab it.

That's great.....I hope anyway. Doesn't explain the dipstick popping out which coupled with the aluminum dust coming out the exhaust probably still means BAD things.

Regarding my low numbers, I am working on fixing my issues. The plugs were all black & 2 had obvious "wash" indications. So I ordered new AR 94 plugs, Taylor wires & some MSD coils. That should solve any spark issues. I hope!

As for the boost only going to 10 psi, I've looked into a 12 rib and the ATI cog system (TJ offered to set it up for me). Problem is the cogs are 3" wide. My 8 rib is ~1", and there is NOT an extra 2" between the blower & the radiator. I might be able to squeeze a 12 rib in there, but nobody makes them, so I'd have to have them custom made. Either solution sounds pretty expensive.

My bet is blown piston I'll bet that there is a nice hole in atleast one of them. That and the head is most likely beat up from the piston breakage. Also, I'll bet it went REALLY lean and melted several spark plugs. But hey thats just my guess.

In the video it looks like exhaust stopped coming out the driver's side tailpipe right before it went pop.

maybe the crank started walking and that caused the bolt to come loose?? I have no idea but I like playing the guessing game. But seeing that dipstick pop tells me that something hit it from below. Now it isnt possible for a physical part to touch it and send it upward like that so my guess was sudden pressure wich means a melt down or a crack somewhere. Purely guessing on my part.
Or a rod got trashed and chunks flew around and hit it.

It was what I thought all along, a hypercraptic piston failed, and thus the dip stick shooting out. There were some contribuating factors I expalin in the attached thread, post #50, which also shows the pics. The motor will see a 300rwhp shot real soon.

That ring land checked the F out! I've had it happen to me in the past. Good luck on the rebuild.

Ya think it was a little lean? Maybe ALOT lean LOL!

I KNOW you don't think it happened but I would sure like to see the log and if you tripped it out of MAF mode(i.e. MAF Fail mode)

That's the problem, in all the excitement, I didn't save the valuable log. However, I was watching a/f the best I could and never saw it go leaner than high ten's once it was going, and never saw KR, but for the plugs to melt you have to have detonation. But who knows now, I will have to start small again and see if something wasn't working correctly ie: tune, MAF, pump or ? Just an opportunity to make things better, stud the heads, better head gasket along with rods, pistons and some new valve springs and of course bigger drill bits for my jets. That brings up another possible scenerio, maybe I grabbed the wrong drill bit and drilled out jets to a 400 hit.

Robert the reason I keep mentioning the MAF fail is when it does it reverts and goes WAY lean.......like imagine shooting juice and NO fuel

Ask Cory and Jim about it. they are well versed!
