Yup as of this weekend there is a new member in the family. Here are the vitals:
175.6 inches
~3150 lbs.
Blue eyes and a mean attitude

Naw it doesn't belong to me. I guess my little brother was feeling a little envy after I bought mine. He was able to get a good deal on price and for his trade. Looks like the Navy is treating him right. Last pic is of his last Vette next to his new one.

Maybe when I become a legalized drug dealer (pharmacist) I can look at picking one up one of these days.

08's are going for 8k - 9k below MSRP. There are some places that still refuse to budge but all the volume dealers and doing heavy discounts to include at least one local dealer (where I bought mine). The Corvette market has gone very soft in the last 5 or so months. Great time to buy a Corvette, in fact IMO best time ever especially used ones. The depreciation hit is huge but i do not plan to ever sell. I don't think the 427 will last beyond the C6 generation so from my point of view I'll be owning one of the last of the 427 Corvette's.

I still have his Firebird. It's been acting as my DD on and off for the last 3-4 years. I'm now passing it on to my step-daughter.

Sweet ride. I was trying to do the math and there is still no way I could swing one for myself. Guess I'll just have to drop more go fast goodies into the Trans Am.

So who is Dave S? I don't really have to call John to find out where my Comp Greys are. I'm not getting them, at least not from Good and WCC as I was told. Anything to get a sale kind of thing....
Took it upon myself to rectify the issue and managed to get what I wanted and still come out ahead.

In the second picture there is a jet in the background. At present he is in the Advanced Flight Training program flying a jet just like that (T-45). Next month if everything goes according to schedule (It rarely does) he will be doing his carrier quals on the boat. He graduated from OCS back in Oct. 06 and has been enrolled in the aviation program ever since.

Thanks Steph I'll do that. It's a lot of hard work but it also has it's rewards and he is loving almost every minute of it. Can't help but feel very proud of my little brother.
