Default FS: 2004 GTO M6 - Cosmos Purple - $17K obo

Well, the time has come for me to part with my GTO... I just bought another vehicle, and the dealer wouldn't give me crap for it on a trade in, so I just opted to sell it myself.

I would prefer a local sale, so I'm posting it here.

2004 GTO - M6 - Cosmos Purple Metallic
45,000 miles

Mods: GMM ripshift, skip-shift delete, 245/45-17 Continental ContiExtremeContact tires (purchased 9/9/07)

Other than that the car is bone stock.. and most of the mileage on it is highway driving. It's not perfect, there are some rock chips and scratches in it. Right now it needs a new windsheild, but I can negotiate replacing that as part of the sale. Interior of the car is pretty clean, engine is completely untouched.

Serious inquiries only, please.

Thanks, man.

I knew it was coming, though.. I've been planning it for months. I needed something that could haul a drum kit.. wanted to save money and get rid of the payment.

I picked up a used Honda Element 4WD EX to use as a daily driver..... dealer only wanted to give me $13K on a trade in, I told them to stuff it. I can do better than that on my own, and I can keep making the payments until I can sell it.

Here's what I bought..

I;ll pass the word around on your car.
I wish I could afford to have another (for my daily) you interested in a full size bronco on trade?

it says I-VTECH on the motor, but it's pretty gutless.. LOL. I just liked how much storage space it had for it's size, and a tight turning radius. Good car for downtown Seattle.

No, I don't have room for 4 cars, I need to just move the GTO. I can't take a trade, I need to pay it off.

I didn't buy it to be beautiful... cuz they are pretty ugly. I need something to haul with, and I don't think I could get something with more storage space in a car that small. The turning radius makes parking in Seattle a little easier than my GTO, too.. Plus the insurance is cheap and it's paid for, and at least it will probably be a really reliable car.

Yeah, but the G8 Ute isn't available yet, so I have to go with what's on the market currently. The price was right, I couldn't pass up the deal... and it will definitely do the job I need it to do. I certainly would love to have a purple G8 Ute instead.

It's kinda nice to now have my daily driver be a car that is paid for and one I don't give a rat's *** about. A tree could fall on the thing and I could not care less. It's a nice feeling.

Yup. Believe me, every time I park my GTO at my GF's place (she lives in Capital Hill) I worry about it... this Element... who cares, it's a beater. Once I sell my GTO I won't have a car payment any more, I'm really looking forward to that.

No, it was a regular production car, it was just made in such small numbers that they aren't very common.

Giving this one another week or so before I throw it on craigslist.
