Default Great news !!!!!!!!!

Well I was out heading to a buddies house today just over 30 miles away. Were where cruising pretty good, not really any traffic so we where rolling about 90 or so. Turned on the road leading to his house and my truck dies. I,ve had a sweaking idler pully for a while now so i figured it just threw a belt. I go to start it again and i have full volts....hhmmmm......I turn the key all the way and all you can hear is the starter engauge the flywheel and stop. I think it seized up. I just changed the oil in it a few days ago, there where no metal shavings or anything in the old oil. Needless to say im pretty happy right now. Oh and to top it off my garage is full of an engineless camaro, and a hack job GTO that we are repairing. So now i have 3 dead vehicals at my house. Will this stuff ever end?

HAHA.. Ya know i've been hearing that alot lately Ellis. But in all truth I'm glad now i can go BIGGER and Better. I've had a set of scat rods, a set diamond pistons and 2 5.7 blocks sitting for a while the only prob is the pistons are a .030 over 6.0. So right now all I need is a good set of forged 5.7 pistons, some bearings and rings. I was all about taking your advice and getting a beater Ellis but damn so soon? hehe.

So if anyone has a set of forged 5.7 pistons I'll trade straight across for my Diamonds They are for a .030 over bore and have a solid 13cc dome on them.

Oh it still is, I think he was refering to the camaro. He is a very funny guy sometimes

Well a little update. It's setting by my mail box and I haven't touched it yet. But I have a line on a 5.3 short block so hopefully that will go through. I have to get this GTO out of my garage before anything But thanks for the support guys.
