Angry One of those times I wish I had a Corvette

My camaro has bilstein bts spring and shock kit which puts the car pretty close to the ground, it looks and drives beautiful. I had two different kinds of LT headers on it (FLP, now Edelbrock) and both scrapes while going over a bump even when I am alone and go sideways over them. To increase the drivablity I bought these spacers that goes right underneath the front shocks and their thickness' are about 2cms. It took the whole god damn day to install and now the front is higher than the back and it looks freakin ugly!

I haven't had a bump test yet but if it fails I swear to god I will remove the spacers and go with midlength headers, not caring how much power I will lose!

I run Pacesetter LTs and have everything tucked up very well. No scraping for me. I'm lowered on Strano springs.

The y-pipe is what scrapes on mine and it mostly just the cutout flanges.

I've heard of pacesetters before and they are cheap as well. I just want a fast daily driver without issues and with good looks. I wanted to put the spacers because my headers were scraping not Y pipe like you guys. I guess I'll just suck it up and drive like this

Mine is at stock ride height with long tubes, cats and y. I have a relocated torque arm and the crossmember for the torque arm scraps. Lowered I couldn't drive it here in Washington. I have plenty of room for my exhaust but you'd think a car at stock height wouldn't have to worry about approach angles.

it failed the bump test as well, I am going back to way it was. I might add a few washers there instead (why didn't I think of that before!!). I asked my friend who is the previous owner of this car: didn't you have the similar setup, how did you drive without scraping? He said "I didn't give a s*** about scraping part". I think that's what I will do too maybe like Guy said it will self clearence

Ha ha! Better fix it or you'll start to dislike driving your car.

lol lol x2 Def get that fixed, It almost looks like a roller (lol) but I totally feel your pain, mine is stock height w/ Hooker long tubes and ory w/ magnaflow (yeah it looks horrid) and when I back out the garage to the street id scrapes every time. I know it'll be a bitch once I lower it but mine looks like a 4wd too.

Like I said mine looks like a 4wd and it's stock height. I will put on a lowering kit just in the dark about the whole thing

if you enjoy lapping days I would suggest that you use the same kit I use (Bilstein BTS). They handle great and lower a good reasonable amount. (unfortunately stock f-body's handling suck, another reason to buy a corvette)

I put the front back down friends. I was looking at the exhaust system thinking how can I prevent it scraping then I had the light bulb above my head. Normally I am always about all motor, but remembering that turbo systems use small exhaust system gave me shivers. I think my next project will be a Turbo Charger, which will allow me to lower the car even more (perhaps) increasing drivability and increase of HP most importantly a LOOOOT of torque. I got my eyes on this 60-1 turbo kit its fairly expensive but I think its worth it. http://www.turbotechnologyinc.com/site/?page_id=113

now I just gotto go buy a piggy thing, so i can start saving money in it

I think your car looks bad *** the way it sits and thats exactly what I'm looking for, So what was the total cost involved (parts and labor), I'm going to throw some Torque TTII's on her w/ the 11's out back and the way it sits high now will look disgusting. I'm not into low riders at all but as you mentioned these car handle like crap anyway and this just might enhance that a bit as well as the appearance.
