It's a toss-up with me... Car still grounded, don't want to race my wife's blazer since she races the G... Tho she'll probably not want to go if I don't, so that'd leave me the G to race... but then I'd be going and she'd want to go... Eh?

Not me. I think the motor might have pucked on me today. Took her out for a drive, and on my way home she started making some ticking noise ( not your typical sewing machine sound) and lost compression. Guess I will have to tear into her and see what is going on.

^^^If we had just as many cars that were in ford team, then we would be good to go. Its not that we can't show up all the time, but it is hard to get the 10-15 people to all show up at the same time to race, and earn those points.

Ford has so many damn people it doesn't make a difference if the same guys race every damn weekend. They will still get the same points.

Fortunately, It looks like it is only 2 broken Valve Springs. I'll get them off tomorrow and see if there is any other damage. Not sure what would have caused this problem, But if that is all the damage then I would be very happy!!!

make sure and check your valves as well. they could have come in contact with the piston. I know you probibly already know that, but I was just saying.

Thanks Lane. That is one of the main things I will be checking. Fortunately the inner spring held up and I only drove it for maybe 3 miles after I heard the noise. Gonna get them off this afternoon.

Really? I wouldnt think the average bike would have any adavntage. I didnt think street bikes were exactly known for consistency, maybe Im wrong. I know I dont stress too hard on them in freeway races.

I do have to say it is called CAR club challenge though so maybe that is their bitch, I dont know.
