Yeah it's popular in this area, and the only other option is Pacific Raceways in Kent. If you haven't found it, here's the Bremerton website. http://www.bremertonraceway.com/

Next weekend, I might see you out there. What day are you planning to go?

Some people say they are kinda tuff with the rules. But they have been real lax with me. They just ask if I have a power adder, and I say no, and they say your good...

That was with my prior car though, I have not taken the SS there yet. So we will have to see.

The schedule shows Test n Tune on Friday the 15th. The track is decent for street cars, just way out in the boonies! The main things you'll need are long pants and probably a helmet. The rest is basic NHRA stuff depending on your speed/ET, and they are kinda picky.

Any DOT/SNELL approved helmet will work. As long as it is not expired. You can usually find a decent helmet around the 120 range for brand new.. The nicer the helmet, the more it is.

TnT is where you run your street car / bike against the clock, as opposed to competition with eliminations. Other events you have to be entered to race, but TnT is like open practice.

TnT is great i ahve been out theer a few times. if you have t-tops u wil need a hemet. also i do believe if u run faster than a 13.99 u will need a helmet. u can search for helmet rules on yahoo for the NHRA rules. umm usyaly leave on the second amber out there and u should get a good RT...

Bremerton is normaly less crowded than Pacific. Last time I went I was the 2nd car down the track as well as the 10th...I got 12 runs in but probly could of squeezed more if I did not keep stopping to take pics and talk.

Friday evening at Bremerton is usually not very crowded. That's where you can get the most practice on your launches. Saturdays at Bremerton, and any day at Pacific, are much more crowded and you'll get around one pass per hour.

Jesus they want a driveshaft saftey loop on all cars running 13.99 or faster? Thats nuts! Its why I bought an over engineered driveshaft!
What are the track fees/cost per run? I only saw a little form with a 5 dollar fee.

I never ran a DS loop on my 02, and I went as fast as 11.9.

IIRC, at Bremerton it's $5 for your number(paid once per year) and around $35 to run for the day.

I usually make sure I'm up about half a quart before I go to the track.
