South Dakota member; Meet and cruise event Sept. 20th. Thought I would post this here. Trying to get a large meet done. Would be nice to get a bunch of F-bodies, GTOs, Corvettes, SRTs, Mustangs etc. there also.
Show off your car, Meet some new people, and then Cruise for awhile
Date: Saturday September 20th 2008
Time: Show and shine will start at 3pm. No registration fee of any kind. Come and go as you please. The entire group will leave on a cruise @ 5 pm on the dot.
Place: Sportsman’s Warehouse parking lot on Louise Ave. in Sioux Falls, SD
All type of Customs, Street rods, Exotics, Musclecars, Sport Compacts, cars and Bikes welcome!!
Tell all your car buddies and let’s make this a great success!!!
Note: We take no responsibility for any damages/tickets incurred while on the Meet/Cruise. This is not a street racing meet, just a nice mellow cruiseing.

I'll have to see what's going on, but maybe. The SS is down (again) for tranny problems (again) 
. You need to talk to Joey at Excessive to see if he can't get a few of the shop cars to come down. We have some of each - Mustang, imports, mine, etc, etc.

Joey is a hard guy to get a hold of. Ive tried calling a few times yesterday, few today finally left a message. Hopefully he gets it. I was planning on driving over there tomorrow after work to give them a flier.

Better get off your *** and talk to Joey. He is always there from noon until close (5-6pm). OR just bring up something to post at the shop.
Another place you may want to go to hand out some flyers is Zakota's on 38th and Minn on Saturday night. Numerous cars there.

I should be able to make it up there. My buddy has an 87 camaro. I will see If I can convince him to come up there as well.

I won't be able to make it. I have to work until 4:30 (at least).. May try to come out and see the show in my truck. One of the SS's turbos took a crap at the track on Sunday to she wouldn't be coming out anyway. Next year strong, bigger, faster

Also I weighed my car at the last Stock/Super Stock race and mine weight 3730 with me in it and 1/2 tank of fuel thats with no weight reductions.
dont feel bad. i trashed my clutch and tranny in my gto this weekend. everything is still going, but it doesnt like to go into 4th and i know the clutch doesnt have much left on it.
