LMAO!! this is not realistic view of healthcare. There are millions of working people in this country who can't afford healthcare due to the cost of it and it has nothing to do with being lazy.

The health care system in this country is out of control and needs to be addressed. Its big business and it all about money and not health care. Doctors and hospitals try an ripp off the insurance companies so the insurance companies raise premiums to the point no one can afford **** and deny claims.

We pay close to $1000/month for healthcare w/2 kids. Thats ******* stupid money and it doesnt even cover total cost if someone has to go into the hospital or ******* dental!

Your ******* grand parents worked for a company that didnt outsource job to the cheapest labor market and once upon a time companies offered full benefits.
Sorry touchy subject..I pay about 12k a year in premiums for health care.. Thats more than half of the yearly income of most common jobs.
You have no idea of what you speak of

Communist?!?! LMAO! This isnt the 50's, find another adjective.

That is one thing I miss about working at apple. $100/check to cover both my fiance and I. It was through United Healthcare... no deductible just copay pretty much. Her ER visit and subsequent gallbladder removal $11,000 before in-network discounts $8500 after... out of pocket cost $80. Cobra coverage of the same benefits... $800/mo. I can't afford that especially since all our OT was cut because of the strike.

I don't side with any particular party, I like certain things one does and the other for certain things. Personally I think Obama is the lesser of two evils for president and will be happy if Gregoire isn't re-elected.

Just my opinion.

He may have chosen a poor term but a lot of people don't differentiate between Socialism and Communism. Obama is a socialist as is a lot of the democratic party. He wants to do what a lot of European countries have all ready tried and found out, the hard way, that it doesn't work. Look at the economic state of Germany, France, etc. They have been in a economic bind a lot longer than we have because of social systems that Obama wants to instate here. Sorry I don't want to play. The government is all ready too involved with my personal life and my pocket book I don't want them telling me I should help some loser without a job because "Its the right thing to do."

I've actually been researching the presidential candidates early this year and came across Congressman Ron Paul. All the other candidates seem to be puppets that can be bought out at Americas cost. He has raised huge amounts of money, even without the media coverage. Here's a little video from youtube for one of the presidential debates. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jc_oO...&feature=email

Ya the past 8 years have been great..,our national debt is what?
It takes how many greenbacks to make one Euro??? Last I checked the Canadian dollar was worth more than the greenback... I've never seen that in my life before but yet you think we should keep the same idiots in office??

Stock market and bank collapses?!?! When will you people smarten up is the real question. Been one regime running the country into the ground for the past 8 years and now the war can't even distract peoples attention from it.

You guys really need to look beyond your govt paycheck.

I'm not saying Obama will fix the country, I'm saying it's time to dump the current reets who have put us where we are today.

No aurguing that it's not big business. But there is more to the story on why they try to rape the insurance companies. It's because of all the dead beats that can't seem to pay there bill. Mostly illegals. So they are forced to pass the bill on to those that can. Kinda like taxes. So you got two seprate entities battling back and forth while both trying to turn a profit.
So you want cheap health care and Mr Obama is gonna give it to you. Well I want a cheap motor. Maybe I should send him a letter and have him set the price on what you can sell it for. After all you have to protect the buyers.

As for the communism remark. If the shoe fits... Or I guess it would be socialism. That is until the Dems repeal our 2nd ammendment rights.

As for how much you pay, you're not the only one.

This is simple economics. Several countries GDP combined versus ours.

Look up the laws that were passed and by whom that led to subprime loans being required by law.

Yes, I work for the government. I have been heard people say I should be tax exempt because I'm a soldier. I disagree. Hell the part of my income that is, by law, tax exempt pisses me off because I don't think I deserve anything that a normal citizen can't have. But I'll tell you this I am a republican because its my right, just like its your right to believe what you want. You are very welcome for my service that provides for you to still have that right. Sorry but when people say that it just gets under my skin because you make the assumption that I believe what I do BECAUSE of my job. I was a republican long before I became a soldier.

If you want to talk about the problem with illegals, you need to address the issue that large companies such as Wal-Mart don't have to pay illegals equal pay. now, if they had to, wouldn't that ruin all the enticement of hiring them? BTW, countries such as Germany and France failed because of all the red tape required to start a business and patent new inventions, a different healthcare system doesn't destroy an economy. But essentially, McCain is lock step with Cheney, one of the most dangerous VP's this country has ever seen. The man thinks his position should be considered both legislative and executive, when in all actuality he's only needed in the Senate for a tie breaking vote. Had Romney been selected, i would have voted red no contest, but both candidates are BS IMHO.

Ya ok its the illegals that have put us where we are today with healthcare..LMAO!!!

You want to talk about communism and trampling the constitution look no further than Bush and the Patriot act. You honestly have no clue.
Trying to do something about healthcare makes a person a communist?!?! LMAO!!

Other way around. The Patriot act put us one step way from Martial Law... no thats not communistic is it?

I dont think a person is bad for trying to fix our broken health care system.
Maybe some of you think that we should kill the weak and eat the poor but I'm not one of them.

I was a republican once and then I got educated and looked beyond the propaganda. I'm not a democrat but I believe a change is needed and putting Mcain in there is another 4 years of Bush. Its blatently obvious as to whats been going on with the current administration and time for Alfred E Neuman to go and we dont need another puppet in there.

3 days to get water to the super dome, Cuba offered assistance.. The world watched someones grandmother stacked up dead like garbage. This is the most basic service a govt should provide to its citizens and they failed us miserably.

CHINA got relief quicker to people than we did and they run people over with tanks!

Thats the leadership we've been subject to.
Yes its time for change.

LMAO!! So is Texas and where is our current pres from?

Problem is people who can afford an illegal or two to do their work for them are the people running the govt.

I agree with you to a certain extent but honestly you guys elected an actor not even from this country as your govenor.
How is an actor qualified to be govenor or president for that matter?!?!?!
See, it stopped being about who's qualified a long long time ago.
