Who all is going to this? I know it is a little early but this will be my first TX2K event and I'm pumped. I know locally we have several cars going, anywhere from Turbo/Supercharged fbods, Supras, TT Cobra's, and Supercharged Vipers with several fast imports.

I went last year to the LMP as a spectator. First time to this track. I personally did not enjoy it as much as hoped. I found the seating to be poor. Sucked having bleachers only on one side of the track, then, you have to look around the damn light poles to see the times down at the end of the track.

Seemed like not many vehicles showed up for the event, after seeing them run 3 times, I was ready to go home. Apparently things picked up more later in the evening... (shrug) Several sponsors if I remember didn't show up, heard several drivers complaining about track conditions and weren't running to there potential.

I may or may not go to watch. The first one I went to was one in San Antonio several years back, and it was amazing, so this one I went to last year kind of let me down.

We are going to try to make the drive down. 1100 miles from here. Bringing a 03 6 speed TT Cobra down in the trailer.

I will be there........don't know anyone out there so if someone wouldn't mind me and my girlfriend tagging along to find out the night events and what not, please p-m me. I'm mainly going out there to check out the SAM school and talk to the admissions guy, but I will be there most of the weekend for the event.
