Raptor hood
Does anyone have a Raptor hood on there car? How did it fit? How is it holding up? I'm thinking of getting one for my car but I know how aftermarket hoods fit sometimes they can be a real pain.

Very nice rides gentlemen. I have a question for each of you:
FedEx delivered my Suncoast Raptor Hood yesterday afternoon for my 99 Firebird Formula. The thing looks awesome! I can't wait to get it on the car.
I hadn't noticed in any pictures I'd seen prior (or in the pics of your cars) that the grilles in the hood are metallic. They look great, but I'm curious what type of metal are they made of? Stainless steel or some type of aluminum or maybe something altogether different? The reason I ask is, I'm wondering if they will eventually tarnish or begin to show surface rust. Have any of you noticed anything like this on your hoods? I'm also wondering if its possible to scuff, prime and paint them when I have the hood painted? I was thinking flat black for the grilles would look good. Anyways, if any of you have any info on this, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.

Phil,
The grill is made of aluminum. It is fine to prime and paint. Most customers either go with some version of black or the same color as the hood. A few customers have done a bright red or orange so it looks like fire inside the hood. I've attached pics of one customer's PT Cruiser with the bright contrasting grills.

i cant tell exactly but mine looks like plastic, i just took sum spray can
flat black, and spray all over but just cover the rest of the car so you dont damage the paint.
after a year the paint is barely fallin off
but i might use sumthing better next time, but from far away they still look good
