Default Got rear-ended, need advice !!

Few things. First, my car was rear ended at about 30 mph while i was at a dead stop. One of my 2 subwoofers was damaged, and my underglow was destroyed. I know that my bumper and other things will have to be replaced, but does anyone know about the other stuff? Plus, im pretty sure I am gonna get a new paintjob. If it is a full paintjob (like I hope) i would like to do something more eye catching than my medium quasar blue with a sparkle. I am leaning towards the murdered out look, black on flat black. I already have blue leather custom doors, steering wheel cover, etcetc. So what should i do? Purple, lime green, flat black, original blue, what?

Well Vin Diesel, I'd keep it original color or flat black. The other colors sound terrible. And don't worry about the underglow, sounds like someone did you a favor. Don't need that stuff.

Keep it the stock color or go with a color close to it. Then see about getting some kind of stripes.

I loved the underglow on my car actually..... but im more worried about the subwoofers. And i am leaning towards flat black pretty heavily so I can black out my lights, wheels and windows.

Garr - I don't mean to hurt your hopes but the insurance company won't pay for a complete paint job. They will pay to paint what is damaged and blending where needed. I manage a collision repair shop. I can help you get the most out of the claim. Where are you located?

Since its the other guys fault, his insurance company will pay for the repairs and a rental while your car is being repaired. All you need to do is get a claim number from his insurance company (make sure they accept liability) and bring your car to the shop you prefer. I wish our company had a shop in your area. Otherwise, drive your car to Minnesota and I will take very good care of it.

while everyone else is chiming in about the body work, I won't address it. Is your sub woofer damaged? Destroyed? What happened to it. I doubt you insured your subs as most people wouldn't, not a big deal. I would get a price on a new sub and talk to the other driver about replacing it. If that doesn't work, threaten a lawsuit

I have a friend who is selling a green StreetGlow kit if your interested, new in box for 100$

If u have full coverage it should pay for
anything bolted down including subs and
underglow. Also u get a check to do what
you want with it u don't have 2 pay just to
get it blended. Best bet is to get a dealership
to give u a quote as there expensive lol.
I got 3500 from just a break-in driverside
window with tint and my gps and a few
scratches My DVD player was still in dash
still intact

what the others said, ive had a car rear-ended before and they only payed for blending.... even if it was a new paintjob they would not pay for a complete color change. and btw ditch the underglow i dont care what you say its ment for hondas and acuras, your ruining a perfectly good f-body doing that.

Subwoofer can be replaced for less than 500$, and your insurance will pay for it if you have a receipt.

Don't f*cking paint your car lime green. Please man. Just get the damage fixed and painted. Insurance will pay for it.

Call your agent. Talk to them about what you need for that to be covered.

from previous experience if you don't have your subs added to your insurance company which you can actually do. i suggest you do it in the near future. you will have to take the receipt that you payed for your subs and your underglow or whatever else was damaged that was bought. and like EVERyone else is saying it will not grant you a whole car paint job.
