I am getting a new hood and hatch for the firebird, and its about time for a paint job. I want a pearl white, but can not decide on the accent color. I could do clear corners, chrome wheels, the clear LT1 tail light mod, etcetc. Then again i could powder coat my wheels black, black windows and VHT lights, black emblems, etcetc. Any input is more than welcome, and pictures would really help. Attached is a picture of the pearl white I want to do. I am not DEAD set on pearl white, so if there are any other good color schemes throw em out there!!! Thanks!!!

pearl white will look great. personally if i were going to get that, id go with a really clean/simple look all the way around. clear everything, chrome rims, etc. the only thing that'd be dark would be tints- 5% on the back, 15% on the sides. that car would look great. as a reference, this is the look i'm talking about- tbird31's car: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...pics-ccws.html ...so clean. and like you said, the blacked out theme will also look pretty good.

but, i mean, with white, you can pretty much do any color accents you want, red and blue being the basics. i think any accent colors other than black need to be very limited in use, and very thought out, because they are very easy to over do and kill the look of your car.

I think blue looks best w/ white. Blue accents, black wheels, black windows.

white and orange look great together and it's something different if u ask me. BUt blue and red look good too.

I think blue, red, orange, etc look great with a regular white. You start getting into a pearl white, depending on the color it can have some pink, cream, or even bluish tones to the paint. Just depends on the shade of white, I know that my old 1990 Cadillac with pearl white paint wasn't really "white". It was more of a creamy white, and any sort of colored accents would've clashed horribly.

Well I am leaning toward blue if I do it. I have blue leather in my doors i did and then some more blue detailing. The white on white just looks damn good though.

Does anyone have any pictures of white with blue? I have seen plenty of white/white and white/black, but not really any white with blue accents. Any other pictures are welcome too!

I would go with a pearl orange, similar shade to HO.
