Default Formula Rear Bumper Swap

I took a quick look through the stickies...i might of missed it. Don't hate me for asking this please lol. I am wondering if a T/A rear bumper will fit on a 98 formy, i was debating doing this so i can do the CETA. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Yes the rear fascia is interchangable between all 98-02 trans am/formulas. I went the opposite way a few months back. O, and the "CETA" mod is really over done, and looks like ***. Just my $.02

It'll be a direct swap for sure. I agree with BlackWS666 the CETA is too overdone. Looks good on any car that isn't a dark color but everyone who has a Trans Am has done the CETA mod.

Think so? I am open to new ideas. I was just thinking it would look a little plain. Where i live out of the 8 or so 98+'s out there...only 1 had the ceta, and it was a bronzsh trans am. I have a few cool ideas for this car otherwise. The color will probably be a charcoal or a dark metallic gray. Then i was gonna have a custom silver/black bird for the hood. (dont worry. tasteful) and was gonna do the black/silver "feather stripes"? or so ive heard. The ones that are on the 2002 yellow collectors edition. And then maybe sequentials. Along with a trans am hatch swap. Think i can get by without ceta? And please give an opinion on how it will look. Oo and a vinyl black/gray interior

I think it looks great on a red car, but that's because it's done to my car. You can swap the rear bumpers from 93-02, they're all the same. Personally I'd leave the stock rear bumper because if you swap it then you need to do the side skirts too. IMO just do the hatch swap and call it good.

you dont need the skirts, the side skirts ruin it. had both the hatch and bumper done to mine looked great

Well seeing is how the "CETA" mod is done mostly with bone stock cars, and a rattle can from walmart vs powdercoating 1200 dollar billet specialties, darkening taillights(NOT WITH BULLSHIT NIGHTSHADE, A CUSTOM MIXTURE OF HPC15, AND U7281), shaving emblems, badges, modly lines, antena hole, firebird of the front plate, pontiac of the rear fascia, keyhole, ect. Yea I would say that there are a hell of a lot less clean murdered out f-bodys than ones with the "CETA" mod.
