Reminds me of a color called "Maui Blue Metallic" that came on Third-Gen Fbodys around 89-92.

I love it. Blue in the shade, Silver with a blue hue in the sun!

Very cool and original.

Went and saw it in person yesterday. The color came out awesome! Doesn't look the same as it does in the pics posted, which is pretty much a good thing because I like it way better in person. They say I will be able to get it back by the end of the week.

It's not Jetstream blue. I ended up going with something different. It came out lighter then what I was expecting but it looks good. In person it really doesn't look like it does in the pics. I'll try to get some pictures up on Wednesday night. I won't have time to get any tomorrow before dark.

if your color is anything like mine.. youll only ever see the true color on a heavily overcast day. The sun bursts the silver pearl and metal flake/mica to a more brilliant silver. Same issue with flourescent lights and camera flash. I'll dig up a couple pictures later to show you what I mean by that lol.

Look through my pics. My car is House of Kolor Candy blue, but it's very close to Jet Stream Blue. That'll give you an idea.

Ok, got back home and dug through my photos... Assuming your car has as much metalic sheen as mine does.. here is your color shift phase (basically )

direct sunlight

sunlight/shade comparison (love looking at this shot lol)

overcast

night w/ weak flash

not trying to steal your thunder, just trying to give you an idea of your color phases looking forward to some better quality shots of yours!

I haven't heard anything from him yesterday or today so I figured he wasn't coming! I won't be upset, I am getting cold feet LOL. But if he shows up, I won't back out on him. I just really love that car.

As for the paint job... all I can say for now is STAY FAR AWAY FROM 803 CUSTOM PAINT in Rock Hill, SC

Looks decent right...

This is the worst paint job I have ever seen, and I get the privilege of seeing it on my own car! I always told myself that I would NEVER get a paint job on a vehicle unless it was done right and of factory quality at least. David Bruton at 803 Custom Paint in Rock Hill, SC assured me that my paint job would be of the highest quality, and that everything would be disassembled for the job. That was not done. There is overspray on everything (even paint overspray ON THE PAINT!!!). I can't even get this fixed with wetsanding and buffing because the prep work, body work, and coverage is so poor. They offered to touch it up, but what's that going to do? IT NEEDS TOTALLY REDONE!!! I have no faith in them whatsoever, and I just want to wash my hands and step away. This is what I patiently waited over 5 weeks for. THIS?!

Bad body work and runs

Masking instead of disassembly. Bad masking at that

Horrible job on jambs. Sprayed right over my wire boots

Overspray all over the glass... yes I need a new dash pad.

Sprayed right over stickers and fuel tank cap strap hanger

Very rough on edge

Chips in wing painted over. I am pretty sure they dropped my wing, these weren't there before I took the car there

Chips in bumper painted over

Runs

Still white

Bubbles and blemishes

Rough

Huge gap and damaged corner. Definitely was not like this when it went in

Overspray from masking instead of disassembly

Runs

Rough and poor coverage

You can still see white through the blue on the right front corner of the bumper.
