Looking to get a WS6-type hood. Rockauto has one that is supposed to be OEMish for a decent price.
Anyone have any experience with their hoods good/bad/indifferent? Understand that I'll have to paint it; wouldn't expect that (for example) I'd have to go with hood pins

Yes, it seems to be all fiberglass (but it's got a weird smell; wife says it smells like cat **** but that isn't what it smells like to me). Might be a plastic instead?
Fit, for the most part, is good, but it looks like they got a bit confused at the very front edge:

The detail around the edge of the scoops isn't crisp towards the bottom, and it seems that the front edge is about 3/8" too long (maybe more like 5/8"). Fits pretty good around the headlamps and along the edges; I haven't done all the adjusting I need to do.
Thought I got a full installed pic, but I guess not. Will have to take one tomorrow.
I'll have to do some cleanup at the nose, but it was cheap (392$) and I reckon you get what you pay for.
Edit - looking at other pics of WS6 hoods, is it supposed to extend forward like that and not line up with the bumper?

Does anyone know about or have a SS hood from rockauto ? I did some looking around and i see that rockauto is the cheapest ($400) for a hood and i'm sure it's a bolt on not pins. I dont really care if it's steel or fiberglass, as long as it's decent quality. it looks alot better than my stock hood they but on Z28's
