Question Is there a difference between the Trans Am High Rise wings....

Is there a difference between the early or late model 4th Gen high wings? I will be starting a project so I need to know ASAP! Thanks!

There's 2 wings that come on the Firebird, the birdbath and the high rise... right or am I missing something? None the less, I'm talking about the high rise that you see on 99% of the Trans Ams

Okay that's what I thougt, but my question still stands....

Is there a difference between the earlier high rise wings (93-97) and the late high rise wings (98-02)? Are they the same wing or are they different?

No, there is no difference, they are interchangeable.. theonly difference may be the 3rd brake light harness where it unplugs at the top of the hatch... there was a single rib on one of the hatches I swapped out but justshave it off with a razor... if youre putting an old 93 hatch on a 2000 then you may have to do that but its a no brainer.. some of the cars made in Canada had slightly different plugs on some of the harnesses but not all of them... so to answer you question more clearly.. They are all interchangeable...

There are actually

1 birdbath, on v6, formy, and verts...
2 highrise, on TA and Hawk or any other V8 typically
3 Firehawk 1, low rise like bird bath but has two little like this..

4 Firehawk style 2,

The last two are very rare to find anymore..

There are also a couple more but they are for Mechams and Sevan series but I wouldnt consider them factory

All of these will bolt up to your car, with the only difference possibly being the harness up top behind your dome light... nothing else...

The first pic looks interesting, but I can't really tell what it looks like because of the angle. Do you have other pics?
