i have a 1999 z28 camaro, and i was wondering if the front bumper and driver side fender and passenger side fender are plastic or fiberglass i think their plastic right??

 

Im not sure about the fender but the bumpers are plastic

I believe the doors are fiberglass, fenders are some sort of composite, and the bumper covers some kind of urethane.

 

They are a type of plastic.and I thimk the hood is composite.Don't know for sure about the hood as I haven't repaired any damage resulting from others cell phone usage while attempting pull out into intersection while I was watching HER talk on a cell prior too her causing a big boo-boo.

Do a search. They're plastic. It's a type of composite or something. Do a search for threads on repairing plastic and you can eventually find people who state the exact name of the plastic.

 

The flat hoods are metal.

 

the bumpers are polyurethane. pretty much the worst material ever. the fenders i have never looked but they are plastic. if you have one off look on the inside for molded in letters. they are marked from the factory, if they are polyurethane it will say >PUR<

If they are something else it will still have the > < marks

 

Ram Air hoods , doors ,rear hatches ,spoilers & roofs are SMC!!! Bumper covers, sideskirts & fenders are plastics!! Unibody & rear quarters are sheet metal
