I snagged these bad boys on ebay......seems the bean counters at GM decided to save a few pennies on the LS1s by eliminating them.......so if your tired of crooked fender bottoms get ya some today

I installed those on my 99 Firebird. The holes are indeed there, just no threads. But the bolts will cut them into the metal.

Any idea what these are called? I tried searching on ebay but found nothing under fender savers. I tried calling the local dealer and they couldnt find them in the parts book.

Try looking for 1993-1997 jacking pads or something along those lines. That's where they tell you to put the jack in the owners manual.

The junkyard would be easier and cheaper. Make sure you take the bolts too. I was able to start them with just a ratchet, no need for air tools.

FYI to those looking for this item used:

These were NOT discontinued in 1997. My 1998 LS1 car came off the assmebly line with these.

It seems that '99 was the first year not to have them.

Holy Crap! That would have been nice to have a couple dozen times a shop lifted my car in the wrong place and f@cked up my fenders. For this and other ways shops messed up my car numerous times I never let anyone work on my car but me.
