Hey everyone i just ordered this hood this past weekend it should be here thursday!
I have a couple questions though was hoping someone with this hood could confirm or clear some things up.
First is i read you have to cut the headlight bucket area so its not so thick there. Ive seen some pics were its thick and some were it blends in nicley so im guessing that is true. Also i wanted to know if there was any interference with the wiper motors. I shall be doing a test fit thursday when it gets here and then friday im sending it off to get painted and such, just wanted to know what all to look for to let my body guy know

well hood came in yesterday, there was some minor damage, you pay 115 bucks for shipping and they still manage to eff it up. Anyways called my body guy sent him a pic its small and fixable and summit is willing to pay for the repair, so either today or tomorrow i will test fit it. and dropping it off sunday to get fixed and painted.

well got the car back, unfortunatley i think i burnt a plug wire so yeah. Doesn't match as good as i was hoping it would but its not bad especially since the paint is 17 years old. Also gives me an excuse to get the front bumper repainted, same guy is going to blend it into the fenders as well as fix and repaint my bumper.

its a couple of shades off, yeah, but at the same time it was a buddy hooking me up im not oing to complain to bad, plus i would of left teh car there to get blended but i'd rather just wait and get the bumper redone also. from a distancce, wet and what not it doesn't look to different i guess it all depends on when the sun hits it, kind of sucks but i can live with it for now.
