That stuff is pretty much junk, and 90% of the time it never fits correctly, no matter how much adjusting you do to try and make it fit nicely.
Every once in a while you get lucky and get one that is not as bad as the others, but rarely this is the case.
Personally, I would pass..
I'll check back later. I gotta go paint a car.

This is what never seems to amaze me. ~If it's cheap, then it must be a great deal.~ Not..
Guys, this stuff is cheap for a reason. Seriously, think about it.
I have fixed alot of cars for insurance companies, and a few years back they went through a phase wanting to use this certi fit crap, and it was a nightmare for us body shops, because the parts never fit correctly, and the customers were complaining about the issues with generic parts. Finally, the adjusters I work with are going back to letting us use OEM parts, instead of the junk aftermarket crap.
You get what you pay for, no matter what it is in life. Please just remember that..

I've bought lots of hoods fenders etc for my other cars from them and they fit like a glove for me, now I went and asked about the WS6 hood and they didn't even have firebird/camaro fenders in my store here in San Diego :'( maybe they've added some? Can you ask if they can ship some out to the certi-fit in san diego? thanks!

Go for it. If you do not have the experience to align it yourself take it to a bodyshop and let them do it. Any tech with even a little experience could align it with no problems. I have a friend that got one of these hoods from certifit and he loved it. I have not seen it (lives 2hrs away) but he said it fits great and saved him a metric shitload of money.

heres the decideing factor... the hood will deff look good from 15 maybe 10 feet away... now you have to decide weeather you are a perfectionist and want it to be perfect because what alot of aftermarket companies do is buy old worn out stamp dies and molds from the oem and use them to sell on the aftermarket... this creats loads of impefections and leads to fitment problems... yes the hood will be passable... but i doubt it will be near the oem hood quality... i bought an aftermarket fiberglass hood from and outside provider and i had about 20 hours of body work time into it not counting paint... luckily i do the work myself so the labor was free.... these are all things to consider... if you dotn have the money for a $500 plus used OEM hood then go with that one and hope for the best.... only you know what your personal preferences are and how you want your car to look... sorry this was an essay... but im behind "tim NOel" on this saying that it might not fit right because iv worked with this crap for a while now and it sucks.... DAMN GIECO (thats all they really use... and uses junkyard parts) <- gay

It drives me nuts that people think something cheaper is junk based on price! The only hood you may get not needing any work would be a factory one. The rest of the aftermarket ones need at least a little. I paid 500 for my hood and its not quite factory nice, but not far from it!

i bought my raptor hood off ebay from suncoast...it was damaged (had a crack int he top of the fiberglass). but all we did was cut a groove in it and fill it with fibergalss...sanded and painted it. Good as new! only cost me 350$. I would say check ebay cause you never know what you might be able to fix!

I have used these hoods from day one they fit just fine any body shop can make these look oem. I'll get a picture of mine and post a picture.
They are very tough to get but for the price its a no brainer.
I have sold a bunch of these with no complaints.
The 93-97 are just as good, and I think they cost less.
They are not oem but they also are not a grand or anywhere close.
If you can get them buy them.
