Car drove like a champ today, no issues. Put in some techron and filled it up with fresh fuel. Passed inspection and is now legal in VA (Other than the lack of a front plate
). My buddy Jay came over and we went for a top out drive thorugh the pungo back roads... it's like a whole new car.
New shocks will go in after Carlisle as well as the new rear bumper and some serious buffing

^ I like to drive it so I'm leaving it where it is. It's lowered w/ the factory bolts so it's about 1" lower than stock.
I can still make it over bing speedbumps w/o hitting my headers.

Brian,
The car looks fantastic, it has definitely come a long way since i last saw it a few years ago (just kiddin). I'm glad everything came out good on it, i've been following the thread since day one and really happy for you that its finally completed. i know the feeling of waiting to long to have the car back together, I had similar issues with the paint shop that did the all over paint job on my t/a when i tore her down and rebuilt it. the second painter did a fantastic job as well. after the motor/trans/rear/suspension/paint and body work it was almost 2 years later.... then my daughter came.... lol its now year 4 and the car just got completed with its final tune last week and still have to clear the wheel wells for 325's.... *sigh* maybe ill be able to drive it again by the time it snows....
Again man Congrats on such a beautiful car and I know you have a great feeling of accomplishment by doing it yourself like i have. hopefully ill be down in the area again and we can all do a hooters or jenro's run again.

Thanks man really appreciate it... it gets old when things are delayed, but driving it makes it worth it. Plus I worked hard to stop sweating the small stuff... the car won't be a Riddler winning show car and at the end of the day that's not what I want.
