Default Review on U.S. Exotics WS9 Hood

I haven't installed the hood yet but did pick up up today. I would like to say anyone thinking whether or not to buy a hood from him I'd have to say go for it! The quality of this hood is beyond incredible and the pictures he provides does not give it justice. Nicely precut, great finish, and the grills he has installed on it on are great and so on. Very light and durable feeling. His communication was very great and shipping was only $97.24 (varies for everyone obviously) since I had it shipped to the nearest terminal and not to my house since it would have been more.

For those who don't know what i'm talking about it is made/sold by Roger or aka U.S. Exotics, and it's basically a Ram Air hood and the heat extractors from the Firehawk mixed. Well just thought i'd share (not sure if this is the right section). He has a auction going right now and has plenty of pictures on his auctions plus he has a online album of more pictures. (not sure if he'd want me to link so you might want to ask him). Well I just thought i'd share.

Few example pictures

I also had one on my TA when I owned it... The quality and fitment are perfect... had no problems installing at all... very little adjustment needed... and roger always offered for me to call him with any problems or questions... I never had to... hood was perfect!

I have one .....yet to be painted with flames to match the rest of the car. Roger was super nice and we picked mine up at his shop. He spent over an hour with us putting it on and fitting it till it was perfect .

I have the outlaw version of it. I had fitment issues on the drivers side fender where the light meets the hood and along the front fender. I had to move my light bracket up to make it work and a hell of alot of work on moving the fender up. But its on there, i would love to have the superhawk over it any day imo.

I'm not a huge fan of the heat extractors.

Do they have a website? I'd like to check them out more.

What's the "outlaw" version? How is it different?

Roger doesnt make the Outlaw version anymore. The Outlaw version is 4" I believe. F-Hawk 117 on this board has one as well but it's made by VFN now who has fitament issues with alot of thier hoods.

U.S. Exotics is not a sponsor. You will need to find the hood on your own.
