i have forsale a brand new from GM 6.0 LQ4/LQ9 ironblock that has been fully CNC machined by me at the University of Northwestern Ohio Custom Engine Building Shop.

it has been bored .025 over and decked to 9.2182" deck height. this is lower than stock so a custom piston will be required. the decks are true and it has also been align honed with the ARP main studs.

-fully CNC bored and decked
compression depth for pistons you will need is 1.0982. this will put the pistons out of the hole .005 with a 6.125 rod and a 4.000 stroke.
-.025 over (will need a finsih hone when you get pistons for it.)
-9.2182 deck height measured on the CNC machine
-align honed using ARP rod bolts.
-a feature on the CNC machine is bore true. the CNC machine knows where the bores are supposed to be in relation to the blueprint hole. this accounts for casting shift. this program was run on this block so the bores are true with GM's specs.
-fully cleaned in hot tank and shot blasted to remove factory paint and any residue. it was cleaned and blasted before machine work, so it is ready to assemble after a finish hone is donw on the cylinders. again this is a brand new block, never ran.
-includes used front, rear and valley covers.

this block will be perfect ready for a hone and assembly when you get it. i will include stock lifter trays with it as well.

block is located in Elida, Ohio. i will not ship it unless buyer arranges shipping and packaging/crating etc...

$800+ shipping firm. block alone is 750+ new and this comes with $300+ worth of studs and covers. not to mention the machine work. i will not tolerate low ball offers, if you are intrested (seriously) you can call me (pm for number) . i will also entertain partial trades for a FAST 90/90 setup, a good clutch to hold up to 500 + hp/tq, 9in Locker, or a decent set of heads.

again you will not find another brand new block, put main studs in it as well as front rear and valley covers and machine it to this level for less. ,y loss is your gain.

this block is ready to assemble after honing. again it includes ARP main studs, front, rear and valley covers. thanks for looking.

i do have paypal, plan on 3% for fees please.

Why would you line bore a NEW block? I could understand a line hone.

Studs apply a different kind of clamping pressure to the caps than bolts.

Yes, you are correct, but that never justifies a line bore, only a line hone.
