this manifold is in great shape.perfect for someone running a power adder.withstands the pressure of boost and nitrus much better than a composite intake.

is it missing the plate?

 

it was missing th plate when i bought it,but i had one made for it.i also have a complete gasket set for it($50 value).
the only thing needed are a couple brass fittings.if i get my full asking price,i'll go to the hardware store and get them before i ship it out.

how do these flow compared to a ls6 intake

 

look in the external section for a thread that has the BBK,LS6 and FAST dyno compared with eachother. the BBK out flows the LS6 but it aslo weighs 25 lbs compared to the LS6 which is under 10 i believe

 

i run this now.i had ls6 no difference to me but it looks good though lol

 

i like em but they hold heat bad! other than that good

 

do you have to do anything different because of the heat?

 

in stock form they are basicly the same as the ls6 intake.the weind has alot of meat to be able to port.i believe you can port the throttlebody opening to run a 85mm,i don't know that you could go to a 90mm or not.you would have to call holley and find out.
the other thing nice about the weiand is you can drill and tap to run direct port nitrous and being aluminum,it can take the added pressures of nitrus and boost.
