When I go to put the rebuilt LS6 heads on the LS1 block how do I tell what length I need?

Did you have the heads Decked? Are you using stock lifters? Are you using stock rockers? All these questions come into play. If yes to any you will need to get yourself a pushrod length checker.

Does that mean you want to buy them all ????

Do you have anything done? Heads, Cam, Different rockers?? If your heads or block have been decked you may need different pushrods.

I got patriot 226/226 cam and 243 heads but milled .030 and my lifters are stock

I imagine you need 7.350-7.375. You need to get a pushrod length checker and see how much you are preloading the lifter. To much is no good, collapse lifters and open valves to much or may not have them closing all the way, not enough, noisy valve train and not opening valves far enough. Are you runnin stock rockers? If aftermarket what ratio?

They are stock rocker just diffrent springs, retainers, seals and lock.
