I just picked up a hood just like this one,I was trying to find some kind of markings so I know where mine was made,also trying to figure out if its after mkt or not..

If its an oem it will have Made In Canada to the rear of the airbox seal and also to the right of it in one of the large depressions surrounded by the bracing as pictured.
I think most aftermarket hoods will simply just have a lack of any marking...

How in the heck did I miss this??? I thought I was keeping an eye out for an OEM hood all summer. Only other one I saw was a junky looking green one some guy in TX wanted $1200 for and would not ship. Oh well....thanks for a good deal on the aftermarket one and if you get another factory hood let me know please.
