Just wondering what the benefit of this intake would be over a new FAST 102 which are going for 799 shipped(besides not needing fuel rails).

I'm not sure where you saw 799 shipped. Cheapest i could find is 850 and i'm not sure if that includes shipping. Anyways cost stand point the tb and rails pricier too.

A unported 92 vrs a 102 is 4 hp as advertised. The highest ported 92 vrs 102 hp diff i've seen is 9 hp spinning up to 6750 and 4 tq. Now comparing a ported 95 mm vrs a unported 102 you definately gonna flow ALOT more. And to get the 102 ported would cost you 350-500 depending on the porter. Considering I seen a ported 92 vrs 102 on a 346 only gain 4 hp and lost tq I don't think you can go wrong.

The 102 imo is more suited for more Ci. This ported intake will have higher gains than a 102 unported.

1. Where did you find one for 800? And shipped.
2. 102mm Does not give gain as much as a 92 or 95.

Got any more pics from atop the intake, the flash is really bright on that paint and Im on the fence. I remember when it was for sale before, the ports looks pretty clean. Do you know who ported it, was it Hinson Motorsports possibly?

My dad works at a machine shop here local and he did it for me. It was port matched for my heads. I picked up like 7-8 RWHP on the port work alone. It was painted with a primer for heat then pewter off my paint code on my 99 camaro ss.

1. 30 seconds of searching you can find the answer out.
2. You are an absolute idiot if you actually think that is right.

To everyone else. Do your research before spouting off false info. The 102mm intake was made to replace the 92mm intake. Both are an awesome upgrade from a stock intake and both will make awesome power. A ported 92 flows about the same as an untouched 102. A ported 102 (on stock cubes) flows around 8-11Rwhp more and 5-7Rwtq more. On bigger cubes the gain is more significant of course.
Untouched 102-800 shipped...
Ported 102-920 shipped...

GLWS... Should sell quick at that price, wish I would have seen it!
