It is not very difficult to properly package an item for shipping. By being lazy and not taking a few extra minutes to double box and protect your sale item, look at how much trouble it caused.
I've had problems with ups losing/ breaking expensive parts, but if you don't know how to ship something it is your fault.
You have had plenty of time to sort this out good luck with future sales.
