SOLD
Texas Speed LQ9 370ci shortblock with 7500 miles on it. I am de-modding my GTO so that I can put the car back to stock and sell it. I made one trip to the track with this motor, and the rest of the miles are highway miles. It ran 12.37 N/A leaving off idle because it would not hook on 275 drag radials. It was built for nitrous, but there has never been a kit installed on the car.

- new GM iron 6.0L block, .030 over, ARP main studs, new LS2 crank (24x)
- Callies Comp Star 6.125" rods, Wiseco -3.2cc pistons, steel top/ napier 2nd rings, ARP bolts
- new ported oil pump, and timing set

Motor was at 11.4:1 CR with 62cc heads. With a non-ported FAST, small tube Kooks headers, SNL cam, and PRC 227 heads, it made 480/450 SAE on a 95* day.

$2500. I am pretty firm on this, as it's a LOT less that you would spend to buy it new from Texas Speed. I will ship it at your expense, or you are welcome to pick it up in Wichita, KS. I will also drive up to 3 hours to meet the buyer.

Sounds real nice man, so I just gotta ask, what exhaust is that in the second video? What size, duals, muffler brand, etc. Thanks in advance.

Kooks 1.75" headers, catless mids, 3" duals all the way out with an X-pipe and 40-series Flowmasters under the back seat ('04 location), then out to stock tips. Same exhaust in both videos.

Thanks for the compliment.

thanks for the info. My headers are 1 3/4", no cats (going on a 66 Nova), I will have an X-pipe, but I don't think I can run 3" all the way. Pretty hard to bend around my 4 link setup, but we'll see. I like the sound of your 40s. The other one I like is the Super Pro Street from Spintech. There's a really nasty 2004 LS1 GTO on Youtube with that setup. Sounds killer. Decisions, decisions.....LOL.

Thanks again.
