Default 6.0L forged LT4 shortblock for boost Cola,K1,Wiseco

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $2500
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette, 67-92 Chevrolet Camaro, 67-92 Pontiac Firebird
Location (State): CT
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LT1/LT4
LS Engine?: Non-LS Part

I built this for my 96' firebird, its a 6.0L/370CI LT4 stroker. Its good for a ton of HP but is also very usable in the 300-500 hp range. Its cost me around $5500 to build it and its barely even broken in, for $2650obo this is a steal.

LT4 corvette block-Bored, Honed, Line Honed,Head Decked,Magnufluxed, Hot Tanked, Clearanced, Interal Balanced, and assembled.
Cola 3.625" stroke crank
K1 Billet Rods
Custom Wiseco Forged Dish Pistons
All clevite H series Bearings
Comp XFI 280 cam
Cloyes Timing set
Melling oil pump

This motor is the best of the best when it comes to LT1's and i'd like to see someone put it to good use!

Its still in the car and was running for about 500-600 miles then my opti took a dump so I parked it and was gonna go 24x LSX ignition, but I ended up changing all my plans like any good gearhead...

Any question just ask, I will ship it at buyers expense but prefer pickup.

6.125" rods
-13cc dish

Never been to the track or on the dyno, or ever seen spray! haha i've been essentially plagued with electrical issues on this car but the motor has an honest 500 miles on it and I can say without any question that mechanically it has never given me any problem from day one. Break in procedure was/has been followed.

Bump for an awesome motor, if I didn't need to go bigger, I would buy this motor to get my pistons back, lol. There is a lot of design thought and time into this motor guys and gals. It is ready for Boost or N20, The pistons were made by me personally to take everything you can throw at them. Using the same ring package as the LSx crowd and used LSx Blower/N20 Forgings with the rings being turned last for the flatest ring and best seal. Also they have a ProStock Pressure Seal and the best skirt design you can find, they have over $1400 into them, thats half this motor. Also, the K1 Rods are Billet, they are awesome peices.

I HIGHLY recommend this setup for a High RPM car(street too). This rod/stroke combo will rev so fast and if you use a Solid Roller cam, you could easily go over 8k.

Hopefully for such a great price, someone will buy this.

If anyone has more questions on the pistons that Trick cannot answer, pm me.

Good Luck Bud, someone will buy it.

Later
Steve

Nice piece. A couple questions. What would the compression be with a 64cc head? Also, a pretty mild cam. What's the rpm range with that cam? If only my tax return would come quicker and you were closer!

My original intent for the motor was to put bigger chamber AFR heads on it and add boost, my calculations put it somewhere around 8.3-8.5:1 on 66cc chamber.
