Default GZ Motorsports LS Vaccum Pump for Sale

Category: Engine - Intake/Fuel
Price: $500
Part Fits: 2010+ Camaro, 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette
Location (State): TX
Item Condition: Used
Engine: LS2/LS3/LS7/L92/LS9, LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I have here a BARELY BARELY BARELY used GZ Motorsports LSX VP104 Super Pro Pump LS Series Engine Complete Vacuum Pump Kit for Firebird & Camaro Gilmer Belt and pulleys with #12 Line vacuum pump kit! I paid 918.50 for this whole kit! I put it on my LS1 98 camaro last April and made about 10 passes on it until July when I made my last pass! Since then it has been in the garage and on the work bench! The reason I am getting rid of this kit is because I am moving to a dry sump oil system and the dry sump pump is a vacuum pump itself! I do know from the initial dyno that I picked up close to 20 RWHP pulling about 16 inches of vacuum at WOT! This pump will pull up to 24 inches if you want it! It is a bad *** part that I really hate to part with! I am asking 500 bucks for this plus 30 shipping! That is a steal since I gave almost 1000 for it brand new!

Included in the kit is the following: Vacuum pump, belt gear, V-belt, oil cap lid and regulator, 2 #12 lines and fittings already assembled and cut and measured for 98-02 camaro firebird, air filter and fill tank, extended crank bolt and crank pulley!

Pm me with any questions!

At what point do you know if this is necessary? What are the reasons to run it?

If ur putting down a lot of horse power or spraying any amount of N2O! Actually any type of power adder a vacuum pump is a must! Helps seal the rings up and there is absolutely no excess air in ur motor! If ur just a daily driver LS1 or something like that with some nice bolt ons then it's not a must but it will pick up more HP and it will definitely extend the life of ur engine!

It takes the two 3 3/8 bolts that are already on the vacuum pump! The pump actually mounts on your passenger head! I don't know why it wouldn't work with a procharger! It will help it out for sure! Unfortunately I don't have any pics of it installed! Ican't believe I don't! I have the one pic where the fill tank is mounted in the car right now! It is where your stock battery location is! I will try and locate a pic of it for you! Pm me and I will give you my number! If I still have the pump for sale then your more than welcome to come by and check it all out!!

The LS pump in the link runs off of a modified tensioner pulley and gilmer belt but the one you are selling runs from the crank with a v groove belt? Do you need an electric water pump and tensioner delete for your setup? Thanks,

Larry

Yes you must have an electric pump and no you can still run the tensioner if you would like! If you cannot run this setup you can actually buy the gilmer pulley from GZ that replaces the tensioner on your stock setup and you can still run a mechanical water pump and not run the crank setup! I believe the gilmer pulley is 89 bucks from GZ!

I think you missed my post were I ask if it was still available, which would put me first in line to buy the vacuum pump set up.
