Default Built, 0-Mile LS1

Category: Engine - Complete Motors
Price: $2500
Part Fits: 93-02 Chevrolet Camaro, 93-02 Pontiac Firebird, Corvette
Location (State): NC
Item Condition: Brand New
Shipping Information: Item Can be Shipped
Engine: LS1/LS6
LS Engine?: Fits LS Engine

I traded a friend my built import motor and some parts for this motor, and have decided I want to go a different direction. I would prefer a non-built motor for as-close-to-factory reliability as possible, and will probably get a crate longblock from Pace. I would like to build another motor years down the road, setup for boost. This engine has zero miles on it.

New Parts Used in Build
OE LS1 water pump
Comp Cams 7955-16 Hi-Tech Pushrods
OE head bolts, GS33380
pistons, H868CP
OE ring set, 2M-4860
OE LS1 oil pump, EP295
FelPro gasket set, CS9284
ACL main bearings, 5M7298A
ACL rod bearings, 8B663PO/S2
ACL cam bearings, SC1000S
Comp Cams XR281HR
Eagle forged crank, 434636226100
ARP rod bolts, 134-6006
Comp Cams beehive valve springs, 26918-16
FelPro head gasket set, HS9284PT
Labor – port & polish
Labor – balance rotating assembly
Labor – assemble engine
Labor – other

Includes
New F-body oil pan, windage tray and pickup (will pull off the crate motor and swap for the GTO pan on the engine now)
Valve covers (not pictured)
Used mounts (to package for shipping)

Does not Include
Starter
PS pump / reservoir / bracket
Alternator / bracket / idler
A/C compressor
Intake manifold
Fuel rail / injectors
Throttle body
Coil packs and sub-harnesses
PCM
Engine harness
Flywheel
Any sensors (except if the crate motor comes with them)
Coolant crossover tube or hardware (unless the crate motor comes with them)
Torque converter or trans

I have access to truck freight and planned to use that shipping method, but can get quotes from whatever shipping company you prefer. I will likely use the crate shipping setup for this motor. It will ship from Charlotte, NC 28208.

Asking $2,500 plus freight. This is over $2,800 in new parts, so please make reasonable offers. I would greatly prefer to sell whole, but will consider parting the motor out as far as the complete heads, cam, and complete shortblock.

Please PM or post here with questions.

-Andy

Based on level of interest and where I need to be to sell this, I am lowering the asking price to $2,500 picked up for everything.

I've had a few questions about selling the shortblock by itself. It would include:
pistons, H868CP
OE ring set, 2M-4860
OE LS1 oil pump, EP295
FelPro gasket set, CS9284
ACL main bearings, 5M7298A
ACL rod bearings, 8B663PO/S2
ACL cam bearings, SC1000S
Eagle forged crank, 434636226100
ARP rod bolts, 134-6006
FelPro head gasket set, HS9284PT
front and rear covers
crank pulley

In other words, no water pump, cam, heads, springs, pushrods, oil pan, pickup tubes, or windage tray.

Asking $1,800 for the shortblock, relatively firm

The PO noted having trouble finding a stock crank at the time of the build.

Yes, the rods are stock, with ARP hardware.

BUMParoo

$1,300 - shortblock / rotating assembly
$1,700 - everything in the first post except water pump

Shipping looks like $200 halfway across the country. Will be packaged similarly to a GM crate engine.

It should be close to the stock 10.1:1. The engine has H868CP pistons and the heads were not milled AFAIK.
