Part Number? Pictures? Are they Clean? How much use?
Wouldn't piston to valve clearance be mainly the cam and not the head/valve? Won't you still have the same problem with a different set of heads? What size valves?

Part number is 1660, it will work on small bore but with a big bore gasket, they do not clear because I'm running a Trex, has the big valves 2.08 intake and 1.6 exhaust, valves have been checked and are great. springs have 2k on them and are good to .650. They are in good shape, few scratches on the faces

Depending on how you notch your pistons you would need a 2.125 intake valve and 1.65 exhaust valve, cut flutes in the face of your two valves then use a drill motor to notch the pistons, if you try notching pistons with the same valve size the engine will be running with you won't have the radial clearance you need fwiw, Just putting this out there so you can see its not a huge deal to make your afr heads work
