Is the rotating assembly ready to go or will it require balancing or anything?
Thanks,
Kory

It's ready to go balance-wise. I would recommend new rings and bearings.

It was removed from the LS2 in my GTO. The replacement rod and piston are the same part# as the originals. Since I had to tear the engine down anyway, I decided to lower my compression to 9.5:1 by installing a complete rotating assembly out of an LY6 engine.

Why did you need to replace #7 hammer and handle?
Any pics of the bearing surfaces on the crank?

Rain water went into #7 and bent the rod. All other cyls were dry.

Will post close up shots of the journals later today.
