This is a complete 383ci short-block based on a factory 5.3L block bored to 3.903 inches. The block has been bored, honed, decked, and align honed. This motor has just been freshened up. It has no street miles at all. It was run on the engine dyno then freshened up with a hone job and new rings. It includes:
- K1 4.000 inch 4340 forged crank
- K1 6.125 inch 4340 forged rods
- Wiseco -32cc forged aluminum 2618 pistons (part # K396X3903)
- Wiseco rings
- ARP main studs
- Comp Cams 227/223-at-0.050 turbo cam (.614/.610 lift, 115 LSA)
- Comp Cams hydraulic roller lifters
- Comp Cams billet double roller timing set
- Melling oil pump
- Clevite H-series bearings
- Timing and valley covers
Looking to get $2,400 for everything, OBO. I will also sell the short-block bare - without the cam, lifters, timing set, lifter cover, and timing cover - for $1,900.

I think I'm going to part this sucker out, either as a complete rotating assembly, or part by part. If anyone wants the crank, rods, and/or pistons, make an offer. The same goes for the cam, lifters, timing set, main studs, and head studs.

New pricing. In light of all the tire kicking this motor has generated, I might have to trade it out. Anyone have a Russian immigrant they can lend me for a week in exchange for the motor
? I need some chores done around the house.
I will consider trades for an AMS1000 boost controller, a 2,000 hp capable air-to-water intercooler, or a Racepak data logger.
