Yes all the suspension brackets are the same but the third gen rear is shorter
it is about 3 to 3.5 total I am wanting to say shorter than a 4th gen rear

This will go in a 3rd gen or 4th gen
you have to run a different back spacing on the wheel
I wanted a wheel with a deep dish that's why I went this route

where are you located?

you may want to know for sure how narrowed it is before you sell most people are not ganna buy it if you say its narrowed between 3.0 and 3.5 per side, thats a big difference especially since anything over 3.0 will require offset lower control arms,

measure the entire rear end length

"Yes all the suspension brackets are the same but the third gen rear is shorter

This was referring to the over all length of the 3rd gen rear vs the 4th gen rear and not the one for sale ( thanks for pointing that out)

I am wanting to say its a total of 58 axle face to axle face but will put a tape on it to make sure.
What is the total length of a 4th gen axle face to axle face I was unsure of the correct measurement from the face to face (once you put the brake on that will change this measurement)
did a search got 64.5 and then there was 64.75 and a 65

Instead of guessing I put this under the car and was going to buy the wheel tool from jegs to put the wheel where I wanted it ( it will also mimic the tire )

Some people want their wheel to sit where the stock one does.
Others like me may want to tuck the wheel in a little to set the car down in the back more without hitting or cutting the tire on the quarter.

I rolled my quarters and will be mini tubing soon so i may run my wheel closer to the out side than other can.
A base line would be a wheel at 4.5 back spacing on a 15x10 with a true 6 narrowed rear
this would put the wheel where stock was ( theoretically)

Believe it or not the wheels are not always perfectly aligned under the wheel well the same on each side under a stock car
This is do to the geometry of the stock suspension.
The pan-hard bar is the problem here once the suspension is compressed it moves the axle toward the driver side slightly.
If you are no longer sporting the ls1 lift kit look (most looked like this coming off the lot) and don't have an adjustable pan-hard then your wheels will sit slightly different until corrected
We are talking any where from 1/16 to 1/4 may be more in extreme conditions
point being 9 times out of ten the naked eye will not catch this

As far as running the offset lca arms that too will come back to what wheel and tire you plan on running
There is plenty of cars running 15x10s with out them

Also you will find different wheel manufacturer go by different backspacing increments keep this in mind when looking for wheels
