I am parting out (or selling the whole project) my 5.3 LS1 build. It makes me sick to get rid of this but I just do not have the time to finish it with 2 young kids. I really need the space and time more than I need to finish this project. I will try to list everything I have and as much info as I have about each item. I have many other parts that may not get listed so if you are looking for something else I probably have it. All of this is also going on craigslist and possibly Ebay as well so it will go fast. Hurry before I talk myself out of it!

I will add that if anyone is doing the swap from a 97 2.2 S-10, I would be willing to trade some parts for your motor.

5.3 Engine out of an 02 Silverado (Truck had 70k miles and I heard it run before it was pulled) - No leaks and no knocks. Engine is on the stand and is currently down to the long block. No machine work as been done, pistons, rods and all internals have not been removed. Heads were pulled and new Comp Custom grind cam has been installed. New comp double roller timing chain and sprocket installed, new LS7 lifters and lifter trays installed. (PM for price since there are so many options, ie, with/without heads, intake etc.)

862 Heads have been ported and polished with bigger SS valves and new springs installed. I have the flow bench sheet showing the specs after the heads were finished. Machine work was done by Max Air Research in Asheboro, NC ($1,500) Paid $1,900.

T56 6 speed out of an 04 GTO. Drove the car before it was pulled. Tranny shifts smooth and has no issues. Bellhousing included. Clutch included but needs replacing. ($1000) SOLD!

Fast 92mm intake manifold and Nick Williams 92mm throttle body. No port work has been done to either. I have all of the hardware for both as well as the paperwork for the intake. I also have a new gasket and seal kit for the intake and TB. Intake $700, Throttle Body $200 or both for $800.

Sanderson Shortie Coated Headers (For S-10 Swap)- ($350) Paid $450.

My project is for a Swap into a 97 S10 truck so I have all kinds of swap parts that are only for that application.

New aluminum radiator (Sold), custom wiring harness, headers, motor mounts, oil pan and much , much more. PM if you have any questions. No dreamers, no low ballers! The more you buy the more you save. I will sell everything I have as 1 package deal at a great price! This would make a great swap for any hot rod, truck or car. More pictures can be sent upon request. Will also sell the truck to go with the whole package if you are interested.

I also have all of the original parts that came off of the motor (Truck style manifold, injectors, front accessories, exhaust manifolds, valve covers. Will sell separately or with package.

Pics to follow........

Anything can be crated and shipped. Probably wouldn't be that bad to Nashville. I'll work with you on it if you're interested. Thanks for the bump nevertheless.

Yes, I suppose you are right about shipping. Is that a fixed yoke on it? It's been a while since I was looking for a trans and can't recall offhand. My application needs a slip, not sure what it would take to swap it out.

Nah, the yoke slides out. Should be able to change it out to whatever you need I would think. Don't quote me on it though.

I was just playing around with the shipping quotes. I am in NC and just quoted to IL for around $130. Would imagine yours would be pretty close to that.

I really want to sell these heads. Dropping them to $1,300 firm or give me $1,400 and I'll throw in the rockers with the comp trunion upgrade already installed. I really want to see how well these things pull with those numbers on the flow bench. I've got $1800 in the machine work alone.

Price is $975 from CPW, I'm asking $700. Got a local guy offering me $600 for it but that's a little low considering it's brand new. If I don't get what I'm asking in another week I may let it go for that.
