Id run at least 8 psi man. Take it from me. I only made 5.5psi with my D1 although it made 571rwhp. It made a puny 467ft lbs and didnt come alive until about 3500-4000rpm. If i were to do it over, id run 8-10psi and make more torque and have the power come in faster. The P1 is such a weak blower compared to the D1

Basically a big washer placed before the blower after the air filter. It restricts the air flow in, to keep the boost from going over the desired amount; more guys will use them on a big blower (pullied down) to get boost moving at lower rpm. ECS uses them all the time.

just keep the D1sc man. You will regret it, this is coming from someone who had a P1 and went to a D1. One day you will need a new motor and it will overspin the P1 more than likely and youll need a D1 once again.
