I've had a lot of interest on this L33 engine, but it's mostly tire kickers and fall thru sales; I'm moving in 10 days and can no longer wait for the right buyer. I'm going to part this engine out, everything is for sell!
Here is the background on the engine:
2006 Chevrolet L33 (All ALUMINUM H.O 5.3 LITER) engine and it has 81,000 miles. This Short Block engine is absolutely perfect. The engine is an aluminum block.
I purchased this engine in 2014 at LKQ in Medley, Florida for a LS-Series swap into Camaro and paid $1600.00 ($1500 for the engine [Long Block] $100.00 core charge) for it. I ended up moving to Mississippi; never found the needed time to start my project. I'm selling this engine, because I'm moving in (10 days).
Here are the parts & prices:

To help everyone and save time, I've research the weight of each component from a vendor on LS1 tech, and here is some important information regarding the L33 engine.
The heads weighs 24LBS each fully assembled with valves and valve springs. (WITHOUT the rocker arms & bolts)
The L33 SHORT BLOCK weighs 180LBS (Minus the oil pan).
The L33 Rods weighs 12LBS (8 connecting rods)
The L33 Pistons weighs 8LBS (8 pistons)
The L33 Crankshaft weighs 53LBS
The most affordable options for shipping is the USPS (United States Postal Service). All parts will be shipped with tracking information regardless of the carrier shipper you choose.
Please - keep in mind I've priced the parts/engine to sell, and the prices are very fair; shipping is on the buyer, and the most important information is my ZIP CODE 39307 (Meridian, MS). You will need that to quote your shipping costs.
BUMP! Morning to everyone! The engine heads are off, I had the heads hot tanked, (They are a 100% untouched) and ordered a set of LS6 Head Gaskets; just in case tire kickers keep wasting my time.
how much would shipping be on the bare block to 75034, also it's a business address
I'm not sure what it would cost, but I can give you the weight of the just the bare engine block; it's a 107lbs, the freight class is "85" the bare engine block would certainly fit in a standard crate for transport to DFW area.
The zip code in Meridian, Ms is 39307 you'll need that to get a more accurate quote. I hope the information that I was able to provide helps, and thank you for your time & consideration.
