Default Vette running like crap....

Ive been getting the P0101 code real speraticly for the past year. It would come on mybe once a week. As for the performance of the car it ran great. Then about 7 months ago when ever I would start and drive the car, it would miss a little and sorta buck like a horse, but after about 2 min it would clear up and run great for the rest of that drive cycle. This all started getting worse over the past two weeks. Now the car seems to buck pretty much as long as I drive it. If I floor it, it would run great, but letting off and driving normal it starts bucking and now I'm getting the P1133 code pretty frequantly... PLEASE HELP.....

you have a maf and an 02 code on what car who knows?
but it uses niether for WOT.
the car is running out of something or garbage in garbage out same diff.
either way a good log would be telling.

There is a difference between MAF calculated and actual frequency at a given RPM, actually greater than 50%. P0101
Second code is for insufficient switching drivers side pre-cat O2 sensor. P1133
Probably MAF problem IMO.

For the P0101 code, I found that the connection on the air bride between the MASS air and the Throttle body was leaking air. I fixed that and that problem seems to be fine and the P0101 code is gone . Now the P1133 is still killing me. I changed the plugs and wires. Car ran fine for a short time and now is back to acting up. This is on a 00 Vette by the way..

If you are still running original O2s then possibly one is getting lazy. or could have been fouled by the MAF problem. Did you blow black smoke while the MAF was acting up?
Still have the originals in my '00 on the drivers side.

Yeah, I was blowing some black smoke, and a real bad fuel smell. The pass side 02 is stock but I replaced the drivers side two days ago. I was hoping that would fix the issue. Maybe the new one got fouled out... The car has 50K miles on it..

Good catch on the intake leak. An exhaust leak close to the O2 will give you the same symtoms. O2 sensor reading unmetered air and adding fuel.
