SLP Diablosport Tuner need info My buddy is selling a slp diablo tuner thats unlocked for 99-02 ls1 he said I can have it for 125 first off will the slp version only have tunes for slp powerpacs or willit have the standerd diablo tunes (93oct 91oct 87oct) plus extra slp tunes already installed
Second will I pick up any power Ive heard mixed reviews but it seems most say the diablo isnt that bad any first hand reviews is it worth 125?

the slp predators have their own slp tunes in it... they do not have the standard diablosport tunes in it...
what revision is on that predator?? when it boots up to the main menu, there is a revision number at the top of the screen... find out what that number is...
if it's an old 1.xx revision, it will not be unlocked, even if he did restore the original backup to his car... it has to be on a 2.xx revision in order for the unlock to work that way...
you'd gain about 20 hp/tq with the tunes...

Ill call him he said before I buy it will hook it up to my car and make sure it will istall the tunes and if it wont he said I can have it for 25 bucks how much will unlocking it cost?

Ok more q's guys Im sorry Ok Im looking for a used predator Ive seen some people have lost hp off the predator tune Im assuming thats because they didnt take the time to get the long term fuel trims and the PE and spark advance dialed in right?
Also I want one that can do data logging and hook it to my computer for ajusting ltft and PE and spark knock what predator is needed for doing the loging and adjustment like in this write up http://diablosport.com/index.php?nam...iewtopic&t=917 Im assuming its just a update that allows you to do this correct?
Lastly the slp version will not allow you to do all those things correct?

those are all older ones that can not log or be updated via internet downloads when new update revisions come out...
you need to get one that is on a 9rXX revision in order for it to have all of the latest features, like the logging, downloadable updates, etc etc...
also, beware of ebay - MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY people have bought from ebay, being told the tools were unlocked, then they get them and find out they were lied to and the tool is still locked to another vehicle... then you're **** outta luck - cuz diablosport will NOT unlock them, and there is no warranty/support for any used predators bought from ebay... so if that happens, you've basically just bought yourself an expensive DTC code reader...
you should really save yourself the headache and buy a new one... also, you'll need to buy the PC Interface kit - which has the usb/serial cable and power adapter that you'll need in order to be able to connect it up to your PC for downloading logs, updating it to new revisions, importing/exporting tunes, etc etc..

so in the end it would still be cheaper then buying a new ds predator will the older ones do a real time log atleast so I can adjust the ltft that way?
This one is revision 2.13 and unused can I adjust ltft with this one?
